Company profile
Motech Industries Inc. is established in 1981 under the name Meter International Corporation. Motech specializes in the design, manufacturing, and service of high-end test and measurement instruments. In 1997, Motech created a new division called Motech Solar and extended the business into the manufacturing of solar cells. In less than ten years, with the production of 102 MWp in 2006, Motech has grown to be the seventh largest solar cell manufacturer in the world according to the March 2007 issue of the Photon International Magazine. In 2006, Motech launched a series of PV inverters products, and it intends to replicate its success in the solar cell business for its inverter business.
